Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) by small and medium enterprises is an act in which an organization contributes to its employees, their families and society at large by means of welfare & training programs.

CSR should be looked upon as an investment in an asset rather than an expense. Brands or products which sell are not only judged by price or quality but also by the companies that produce them.

In 2002 PricewaterhouseCoopers (http://www.pwc.com/) survey of 1,200 business leaders found that 70% of CEO agrees that CSR is vital to the profitability of any company.

  1. If you don't know how to say NO, people will take undue advantage of you. At office you will be bogged down with work and others will enjoy while you will be doing their stuff.

Submitted by rashmijsr on Thu, 2007-08-30 12:44

1.Know the expertise of the company you are applying for the job

2.If you have expertise in Java don't apply in a company which works only in PHP as it makes no sense.

3.Just don't post resume to any email id which you get hold of from websites. It may so happen that you mail the wrong person and he may mark that as junk.

4.Please find out appropriate email id's of HR for mailing. They are the persons involved in to recruitment.

- An employee should have good communication skill to interact with his senior and team mates.

- Check if the employee has switched job too often. If it is dont hire that employee, he may leave from here too.

- Check his knowledge by written test ( When a candidate come for interview. He says he is strong in everything but when it comes to the actual application part he cannot answer simple questions )

We cannot trust hospitals and medicines now a days. Fake medicines have crowded the market so much that we cannot find out the difference. These fake medicines will do more harm than any good as they will increase the problem further.

Maoists hit common People

Submitted by rashmijsr on Fri, 2007-08-03 11:44

An eye opening article on things happening around us. Its really a very alarming situation that antisocial elements in society are trying to take law in their own hands and creating chaos. Its the common man who suffers at last and the innocent being killed. Its not the first time this is happening. It happens over and over again and the government remains silent. Stern action needs to be taken to stop all this nonsense.

From article :
"Ranchi, Aug. 1: Are “Maoist bandhs” going to boomerang on them?
