Life is not a Cake walk
Life is never a cake walk. Life gives us hope and courage to live. We experience both happiness and sorrows while moving ahead in life. They are two sides of the same coin. There is no single person who has not faced any problems while climbing the ladder of success. There are both joyful and sad moments in life but that does not stops us from living life to the fullest and give a full stop to our ambition. Everyone who has made it to the top had some exceptional qualities of fighting back and not giving in to failures. There are many who give in to circumstances but there are very few who fight back and are not ready to surrender themselves to the unfavorable situations. It all rests in our hand as to which path we choose and how far we travel. Its very correctly said that “ Only those who risk going too far can probably find out how far one can go “.
All the living legends and great personalities where not born great but they worked hard and made a special place for themselves in this world. They worked hard, persevered for their ambition and never gave up. Everyone from top Bollywood personality like Amitabh Bacchan to Top Cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar had to face all odds and sustain in adverse circumstances. Every great personality has a story to tell . Film director Madhur Bhandarkar had no filmi background But he dreamt of entering the film industry. His father was and electric contractor and mother a house wife. He used to study and work from the age of 14. He sold cassettes and even sold chewing gum at traffic signals. He assisted Ram Gopal Verma in Rangeela and that was the moment he got recognized in the film industry. After few years he directed his own film “ Trishakti” and that was a big box office flop. Life was very tough and he had to borrow money even to meet his day to day expenses. But then he learnt his lessons of following his own heart and making what he thought was correct and had no looking back. He has directed many successful movies like – Chandni Bar, Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal, Fashion and Jail. He received many National Film Awards.
We have to move on in life and we just cant sit and wait for things to happen. Herbal Queen Shahnaz Hussain received woman of Substance Award. Its really a big achievement for a woman. She had a very struggling career. She was married at the age of 15 and had a baby just after one year of marriage. She went abroad with her husband and studied a Cosmetology course. She became aware of harmful effects of chemicals on human skin. She studied Ayurveda and believed that it is the best alternative to chemical cosmetics. She returned to India and started her First beauty salon with herbal products. She became famous in India as well as abroad. She had to face a lot of misery in her personal life when she lost her first husband Nasir Hussain but that did not stopped her from moving ahead in life. She remarried. Again She was filled with sorrow when she lost her only son. She says “ The power to make or unmake is in your hands “.
We have to face adverse situations and we never know which route to follow until we start and take the journey of life. Pooja chopra who was Femina Miss India and Miss World 2009 had a distressful childhood. Her father did not wanted another baby girl in home so when Pooja was born her mother left with 20 day old baby and seven years old elder sister. Her mother worked hard to make ends meet. But life passed on and She made her mother proud by becoming Miss India 2009.
Things are never easy for anyone every one has to face life miseries and return back to face the world with an open heart. Life is not a cake walk each and everyone has to do their part inspite of all setbacks. Every person who made it to the top had persevered day and night and had one single dream to succeed. Success never came to any person easily but it came to those who worked hard and had a far sighted vision. Sometimes we think why god chose us for so many miseries, but what we forget is god chose us to be different than the masses and do something great.
